So Ive been thinking, and although people as dumb as BossHogg are rare, they do exist but it doesn't seem plausible that someone as dumb as BossHogg appears to be, would have the ability to access TOR hidden services let alone work out how BitCoin works and sell drugs online plus the packaging side etc.. So I think it is very plausible that BossHogg has infact fooled us all and is just trolling and we have all fallen for it. If so a big congrats to CockHogg for the best troll job so far on these forums. If not, im sure natural election should take effect soon enough.

I think BossHogg's a great character. His spiel really adds some humor to my travels on the Road. I don't think it adds anything to his credibility, in fact it probably hurts his sales. I don't know, he's mainly a US vendor (I'm in the UK), so I don't know how trustworthy people think he is?
All I know is, he makes ridiculous statements IN BOLD, that give me a laugh. (I do realize it's not part of a vendors job to entertain us) :)
EDIT: What is the definition of a Troll anyway? Is it someone who just makes a nuisance of themselves on-line?

Trolling is pretty much posting to get a reaction from someone. That's about it but some people will disagree.
If you talk to some hard core troll nerds about it they will tell you it's art and all kinds of bullshit basically just "trolling" you.

We had someone get cautioned by the police for 'trolling' an Olympic diver, here in the UK. The troll said that the diver (Tom Daley) had let down his father by performing badly. Tom had dedicated his Olympic efforts to his dad, who had died earlier this year (I think?). The troll claimed he (she?) hadn't known that Tom's dad was dead. But that seemed unlikely because of all the press coverage of Tom's plight as a hopeful Olympic medalist. Also why specifically say he let down his dad, why not parents or family? Anyway, no significant charges were pressed.

He is pretty entertaining to read, but I probably wouldn't order from him because of some of the stuff he says. I think it gets him attention, but probably drives away some business.

i dont really think hes that stupid. i think its all an act to keep law enforcement far away from him. if you think about it hes probably some nerdy white college kid, not some black dude in a ghetto trailer park. oh well just my opinion. i however wouldnt order from because he doesn't use pgp.

This. IME it's his/their facade for anonymity, viral marketing, or both. Everytime I've initiated business the caplocks come off and it's all business. If you look at some of his threads you'll notice he plays along with trolls and plays out cliche stereotypes with a sense of humor that's seems to be too subtle for most.
I don't condone behavior on either side of the recent fiascos, but for the record, BH did send me my coins minutes after his "cut and run" comments Friday.
